As of 4th July 2009, IVAC is offering Kshar Sutra treatment on a monthly basis. Simply call for an appointment and we will schedule your treatment. Kshar Sutra means alkaline thread, it is an ancient method of painless surgical removal developed by Sushruta, the father of modern surgery and author of the great Ayurvedic text Sushruta Samhita. The thread is prepared with special medicines and then applied by a qualified Ayurvedic specialist. This allows for painless removal of piles and anal fistula.
